Today, CARE focuses on empowering particularly marginalised and vulnerable women in Cambodia, including urban women who are marginalised by occupation, rural women who are denied multiple rights, and women and girls from ethnic minorities.
CARE is seeking a qualified national candidate to fill the position of Information Technology Office (ITO) based in Phnom Penh with frequent travel to project sites.
Salary Range: $660 - $697

Your major responsibilities will be varied and will include:
Assist IT Manager to working across CARE International in Cambodia (CIC) to resolve IT problems, understand needs and offer solutions, especially office365,
Improving CIC’s software/hardware implementations in data recovery, data storage, perimeter security, internal security, centralized email, and database maintenance,
Assist IT Manager to maintain CIC’s computer security against external threats and ensuring that internal controls are in place to guard against fraud, illicit use of electronic data or improper use of electronic communications,
Give support to all staff in troubleshooting system, Internet, network problems, Office 365, SharePoint, diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults
Assist IT manager in managing, maintaining and strategically planning for CIC’s IT equipment (i.e. computers and accessories replacement, server upgrades, etc.),
Devising state of art systems (within CIC resources) to enable departments to communicate with each other and share data and best practice easily,
Ensuring security of CIC’s systems especially those handling the financial operations and data gathering and storage,
Ensuring that relevant staff received proper trainings on CIC’s newly introduced systems/software to enable them to use systems/software to their maximum potential including Office365 and SharePoint,
Supporting Media and Communication team in maintaining and improving CIC’s website,
Install and configure computer hardware, software, systems, printers, scanners etc.,
Identify and prepare hardware for disposal when appropriate and ensure hardware and data is stripped and secured before disposal,
Assist in maintaining IT asset and inventory records and documentation for equipment

II- SELECTION CRITERIA:
Bachelor Degree of Information Technology/Computer Science or other related fieldsand/or minimum 2 years relevant work experience, preferably with an International Non-Government Organisation (INGO) and/or private company;
Demonstrated experience in following standard policies, procedures and processes and ensure the implementation of basic standard transactions;
A willingness to learn about CARE, gender equality and women’s empowerment activities;
Demonstrated experience Officer365, SharePoint, network infrastructure and Windows operating systems,
Proven ability in operating IT and office equipment;
Good in Microsoft Office with knowledge in Microsoft Word and Excel and intermediate numeric skills;
Good communication skills in Khmer and good oral and written English Demonstrated good interpersonal skills, sound judgment, planning, problem solving and team building skills;
Demonstrated organisational and time management skills and ability to work under pressure and to organise and manage workload to meet deadlines
Demonstrated characteristics in honesty, reliability, trustworthiness with the ability to maintain confidentiality,
Demonstrated ability to contributes to group objectives and work effectively in a group setting; and
Demonstrated commitment to CARE Core values (Respect, Integrity, Commitment and Excellence) and team work

Public Holiday: CARE Cambodia the mandated public holidays (22) based on the Prakas by the Ministry of Labour and Vocational Training.
Time Off In Lieu: CARE Cambodia promotes a healthy work and life balance and does not encourage employees to work outside normal working hours. If those employees have to work during the weekend or public holidays due to requirements, he/she will be entitled to Time off in Lieu.

Remote Duty Station Allowance: Giving an understanding on some challenges facing by staff that moving to field offices at north eastern provinces, CARE Cambodia provides extra allowance to staff who has no permanent address at filed offices.
