His experience includes working with multiple donor programs and cross-cultural and diversified teams in international organisations.

Sana has a Bachelor of Science in Agronomy from the Royal University of Agriculture in Phnom Penh and a Master of Development Management from the Asian School of Development and Cross-Cultural Studies in the Philippines.

Acting Country Director Jan Noorlander says, “The recruitment panel of CARE Australia conducted a thorough selection process, and I am very pleased that a Cambodian candidate was able to compete with very strong international candidates. I am proud that CARE Cambodia’s leadership team will be headed by a Cambodian colleague.”

Jan Noorlander will continue in his usual role of Assistant Country Director for Programs once Sana takes up his post.
