The impact of microsavings on women’s health in Cambodia

In late 2014 a number of key policy and decision makers from the USA and Australia visited Cambodia to learn more about the impact of foreign assistance funding on the lives of those CARE works with.

Representative Ander Crenshaw witnessed one of CARE's Village Saving and Loans Associations (VSLAs) in action. He saw how VSLAs are allowing women in rural areas to save for their futures and spoke to one young woman, Phon, about the impact this has had on her family.

Watch the video to see more about what he learned.
