Effectiveness of bilingual education in Cambodia

Effectiveness of bilingual education in Cambodia: a longitudinal comparative case study of ethnic minority children in bilingual and monolingual schools was jointly published by CARE Cambodia and two faculty at Australian Catholic University in the May 2014 issue of Compare, an academic journal. A advocacy success is that the government in Cambodia has adopted the bilingual curriculum that is assessed in this article and developed by CARE as the national bilingual curriculum!

This article reflects more than ten years of programming on bilingual education with ethnic minority students in Cambodia and the positive results have been highly regarded at regional and international conferences and fora. Please join us in congratulating the team at CARE Cambodia for a well-documented and evidence-based article, as well as their continual high quality of programming.
