Sana is responsible for overall planning and management of CARE International’s development and humanitarian program and country office activities in Cambodia. He brings an extensive experience from over 20 years working in humanitarian and development sectors with the different International Organisations in senior management roles.
Sana has a Master Degree in Development Management from the Asian School of Development and Cross-Cultural Studies (ASDECS) accredited by the International Councils of Higher Education, the Board of Trustees, Philippines.
Deputy Country Director - Programs
Jan is responsible for overall CARE’s programs. He has over 15 years experience working in Cambodia. In 2002 Jan started with CARE Cambodia to establish and manage the Highland Children’s Education Project and has been integral to considerable developments in the multilingual education sector in Cambodia.
Jan did his Masters in the Netherlands (British and American Literature) followed by Post Graduate study in educational management. In the 1990s he worked as the Principal of a college for adult education and training programs for asylum seekers.
Deputy Country Director - Program support
Sokkheang is in charge of overall CARE’s program support. He is managing CARE business included Finance and operations. He brings an extensive experience over 17-years in finance and support services from various local and international development organizations into the management role in CARE structure.
Sokkheang hold a postgraduate degree in Finance and Accounting, and he is currently studying CPA Australia toward the Certificate of public accountant.
Deputy Program Director
Duk Pun is the Deputy Program Director. His role is responsible for field implementation, coordination and management of all CARE projects in the Ethnic Minority Women Program, and provides leadership to the program manager and project managers.
Prior to his current position, he has extensive experience in rural livelihood development program, program management and human resources management at senior level for over fifteen years.
Pun graduated a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), at Preston University, and holding master in Agriculture and Rural Management, International University, Phnom Penh, Cambodia.
Deputy Finance Director
Sopanha is responsible for managing the overall CARE Cambodia mission budget and Country Office financial management. She has 18-year experience in Administration and Finance with various international development organisations, private sector, international agency and Embassy.
Sopanha holds a bachelor degree in Economics, specializing in Enterprise Management, and she is working toward ACCA qualification from UK.
Senior Human Resource Manager
Ms. Seng Danet plays a role as Senior Human Resources Manager for CARE Cambodia started in August 2018. She has been working across the different functions of human resources such as recruitment and selection, compensation and benefits, staff’s capacity building, employee relation, staff’s performance and talent management. Before starting her work with CARE Cambodia, she has more than 6 years experienced in HR field within local and international organization included two years in management.
Danet is holding a Master Degree of Business Administration from Norton University and Bachelor Degree of Business Administration from Pannasastra University of Cambodia.
Gender Technical Advisor
Sola leads CARE Cambodia’s work to promote gender equality and women’s empowerment by raising visibility with staff and partners, providing strategic guidance and gender-transformative approaches for program development and implementation, and leading capacity building for external stakeholders.
Sola has 13 years of experience working in social justice, including 9 years managing multiple aftercare shelters and all other substantive programs for a prominent anti-human-trafficking NGO. Sola is also a member of various anti-trafficking government committees.
Sola holds bachelor’s degrees in both Psychology and Education and also received the award to join Global Freedom Exchange program on Women Leadership Empowerment in 2016.
Senior Program Manager - Dignified Work & Life free from violence
Borina oversees support to number of projects under DW-LFV program in garment manufacture, construction, entertainment industry and works with national and sub national administration.
Her role is to contribute to the strategic direction and provide leadership and technical support to the CARE program strategy and Made by Women Impact Growth Strategy.
Borina has 15+ years experience in community development projects. She also has 2+ years experience with private sector engagement in sexual harassment prevention in workplace especially in garment industry.
Senior Operations Manager
Moniroith is managing overall operational work in CARE Cambodia.
She has more than 8 years of professional experiences with both national and international organisations, government, and business Sector.
Moniroith holds a Master degree of Business Administration from the National University of Management (NUM) and Bachelor degree of Information Technology (IT) from Royal University of Phnom Penh (RUPP). She has also attended other course studies such as Business English program at ACE, Operacy, and System Development.
